LCPC, NCC
I believe that deep down people know what’s best for them, but that things can get in the way that can cloud your ability to see solutions that help move you forward. Therapy can be a place to pause, breathe, and feel more grounded in the midst of what’s been overwhelming. In my practice, I offer a compassionate and supportive space to do the hard work of therapy that often takes courage, commitment, and curiosity.
Much of our behavior, beliefs, and emotional responses are shaped by early experiences and stories we carry from childhood into adulthood—often outside of our awareness. My approach asks you to slow down, notice what’s happening beneath the surface, and gently but honestly work to bring these patterns into focus, especially those that no longer serve you.
In addition, by using the latest evidence-based therapy, I work with individuals living with chronic pain or insomnia, recognizing how deeply the mind and body are connected. Rather than a “learning to live with pain” approach, I work with clients to leverage the neuroplasticity in the brain to decrease the sensations, even if they have been there for decades.
